GO Wild Cats! GO Red Sox! GO Karate Kid!

My daughter made the freshman cheer leading squad for Whitney High School. I cant even believe it. She worked so hard at learning the routines last week between school and softball and when push came to shove....it seemed like she ran out of time prior to the tryouts! But holy crap....she worked it out after all and made the team! I am so excited for her....not so much for me.

This whole new venture is gonna cost me another $1500 that uh.....I really don't have to be spending frivolously! At the same time, I can't NOT let her be on the team!!! I don't know what to do besides just fork it out of my savings. This scares me because like I said before, I have a few things financially that I am leaving up to chance! If these things don't work out...I will need that money more than ever.

This is the beginning of the best years of my kids life and I am so excited! I never did any of the activities they are so busy with and I am so happy to provide them this kind of life. I love watching Trent work on life missions and moves in Karate.....I especially love watching Dylan catch line drives to 3rd base and be the only score of the game. I cant wait to see Brittany next year when she is part of a team cheering their high school to win their games.

I want this to be the foundation and the momentum they need to kick start an amazing adult life. Being a parent is the hardest job I will ever have. All I can hope for is that they grow up healthy and happy balanced people. I only have a short time left and I am going to do everything in my power to make those steps positive and successful!

I love my children with all of my heart! They are my world and I cherish our close relationships!! I only wonder what my life will be fulfilled with once they are on their own. I will surely miss them.

Until then....GO CATS!
