A Day Anew! Look out career....HERE I COME!

Today, my kids went back to school from spring break. The week went by fairly quickly and for the most part, the house didn't fall victim to destruction that typically warrants my need to triple scrub once they are gone.

It feels like a "NEW DAY". I have my focus back. I need to find work! I have been laid off for what seems like a couple weeks, but technically almost 9 months. (OMG) So today, I called the Haverhill Staging Institute and enrolled in their accreditation program. This company is featured on HGTV and was referred to my by one of my best friends and colleague, Kimberly Dressel in whom I trust. I was told by the course instructor that upon completion of the course, their company will consider me eligible for employment. I opted for full time which pays a good dollar amount per hour and guarantees 37 hours a week. Sounds like a dream come true!

I have always been a GO GETTER! I have always been able to find what I want and get it....job wise. However, in this grim (at best) economy....I have found it to be an impossible task. I am currently leaving a lot of things in my life up to chance right now so it is time to finally MAKE things happen for myself. I am keeping my fingers crossed on this staging employment! It is right up my alley....with the perfect commute and pay. Not to mention, I am going to be fabulous at it. After all, if you have designed model homes for 5 years....you are a master at "staging" because essentially, that is what model homes are.....but with more of a budget.

Ok UPS....hurry up with the courses! I want to get out there and make some MULAH!!
